Palmistry

Palmistry is divination through the messages written on the palm of the hands. Palm reading is an ancient practice used to foretell someone’s personality; life path and previous lives.

Both hands are considered during a palm reading. One is considered the dominant and the other one represents the past life influences or karma. Palmistry takes into account reincarnation.
The first step in a palm reading is an overall view of the shape of the hands.

Square shaped hands mean that an individual is hard working, practical. Hands that are pointed reflect individuals that are intellectual, works best with their mind. A long straight thumb indicates an individual with an even temperament, usually a leader/executive, and they do not like to be teased. A short curved thumb reveals a person of strong will, may appear stubborn, and has a tendency to be a jokester.

In palmistry the location, depth and interruption of the lines is significant. A long lifeline with no crossing lines denotes an individual with a fairly uncluttered life. A long lifeline with many lines denotes an individual with many obstacles to overcome through out their life. The common factor is both of these individuals have lifelines. All human beings have the major lines noted in palmistry.
The lifeline, headline, and heart line, are specific to the individual. No two persons lines are the same. The lifeline predicts the temperament of a person’s life. The headline predicts the mechanism on how an individual thinks and the heart line details an individual’s emotional mindset.

In addition to the lines of the palm, certain fleshy areas reveal individual traits. The mount of Venus (the fleshy mound that holds the thumb) details love and sexuality. A bulbous, pliable mount of Venus indicates a person with deep love and is passionate. A rigid shallow mount of Venus denotes a person that is condescending and has an analytical approach to love. The other major mounts of the palm are: Jupiter, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Lower/Upper Mars, and Moon. Each one signifies individual traits interpreted by their physical placement on the palm.

Palmistry has provided a map of an individual’s life designated on the palm of their hands. The lines on this map change over time along with the changes in life that an individual experiences.
