The Law of Attraction

The Law of attraction states that whatever an individual wants they will have. This statement is easy to conceive of, but the application depends on the intentions of the individual. The law of attraction is not only an exercise in wish fulfillment, but according to its principles, the body will align itself physiologically to attract what it desires. Quantum physics includes the law of attraction, which states vibrations that are alike will attract like vibrations. The (esoteric) law of attraction includes this proof and interprets it for individuals potential, what they focus on they will attract. This will also change the physiology at the molecular level allowing for the desired goal to come to them or manifest for them.

The law of attraction has four basic components, define or narrow the goal (what is it you want), ask the universe for it, live as if you already have the desired goal with complete belief and faith, be receptive to the universe gifting it.

These four components seem simple, but on further study the ability for an individual to completely surrender to the will of the universe is challenging. The will of the individual to acquire what they want should be dissolved. This is sometimes difficult for an individual when they are wishing for something they truly want. In a sense, they become an obstacle against gaining their true desire. The key is to follow the four components of the law of attraction with a detached position, but not become apathetic towards it.

Studies have shown that when an individual focuses/concentrates their brain waves change. The scientific community disputes naming this mechanism a law. In scientific terms a law is something that can be measured, tested and duplicated with repeat results. When attempting to test and measure an individual’s success using the (esoteric) law of attraction no solid scientific evidence has been documented. Even though the physical law of quantum physics states that all matter vibrates and all matter is attracted to like vibrations, the abilities of the scientific community to leap to the concept of applying this to a human being with all of the variables of their lives, is too great.

A strong argument against the law of attraction is that if something bad happens to good people they somehow orchestrated the event. They, through the principles of the law of attraction caused their own demise. For example, the woman who was raped while walking to her car also follows the law of attraction. This occurrence would state the woman attracted the negative experience because of the negativity from herself. Mental illness or other physically handicapped individuals do not fall into the laws of attraction since their mental capacities are diminished. Dissenters feel that a strict interpretation of the law of attraction would prejudice thinking against these and similar scenarios.

Even with these debates against the law of attraction is does have a strong following and success stories. It makes logical sense that what an individual strives for they will make strides toward achieving it, and if properly followed the law of attraction guarantees it.
